Getting Married and Want a FREE Wedding Website and Honeymoon Registry!?

Custom Memories Travel Offers Free Honeymoon Registry & Wedding Website!

Honeymoon gift registry offers contemporary option to gift giving.

Sales of gravy boats and monogrammed bath towels may be on the decline as newlyweds-to- be shift their registries from households to honeymoons. As a travel agent that specializes in honeymoon planning, Custom Memories Travel is betting that this national trend will be reflected in your hometown as well!

Custom Memories Travel is now able to offer this service to its honeymoon clientele through a partnership with an online honeymoon registry company Through this affiliation, couples are able to create a custom honeymoon registry out of the honeymoon package they purchase through Custom Memories Travel as well as a FREE Wedding Website to serve as a central source of information for their wedding.

As a specialist in honeymoon travel, Custom Memories Travel has seen the gradual increase in the age of honeymooners, nationally now 29 for men and 27 for women. Many of these young couples have already spent money on establishing households and usually don’t need another toaster. With more couples paying for some or all of their own wedding expenses, many couples find themselves settling for something less than their dream honeymoon.

“We feel the honeymoon registry is a trend that is here to stay,” says Erin C., independent travel agent,  “and we’re very happy to give honeymooners high-tech tools with our local ‘high-touch’ service. Young couples love the Internet for research, but the honeymoon is just too important an event to risk booking it entirely online.”

My Last Staples Trip - week of 2/17/13!

So, I completed my Staples trip today in Syracuse! I can't believe that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the Lysol Disinfecting Wipes deal!

Until 2/23/13, you can grab 3 of the above Lysol Wipes @ $3.99 each and get back 100% in Staples Rewards! So, I used my gift cards I talked about in my prior Staples post that I bought with my rewards from last month. I used the gift cards to buy the above items...REWARDS items! If I had used my ACTUAL rewards instead of rolling them onto the gift cards online, I would not get the full amount credited to me on this month's rewards! Woohoo!

I didn't have the extra FREE earbud coupon with me, but I had the Poland Spring and the Copy Paper Coupon with me! After the rewards I will be getting back, this trip cost me the price of the Poland Spring - $2.99 plus tax & deposit! :)

My Staples Trip 2/18/13!

You HAVE to hit Staples this week if you are into FREE stuff! :)

My post last week talked about Staples Rewards and Staples Easy Rebates...well, you may want to take advantage of BOTH this week!

Here's what I did with the gift cards that I get with my Staples Rewards certificates:

(1) Staples Multipurpose Paper $6.99 with a $6.99 Easy Rebate when you scan this coupon (Pay out of pocket, get all back except tax with rewards card number = FREE) Limit one per card.

(1) FREE earbuds @ $3.99 when you purchase $25 in-store. You can find this coupon in your SUNDAY paper Staples insert. SOMETIMES they have a copy at the store, but not usually

(1) 5-ream Staples Copy Paper @ $24.99. Use this coupon to save $4.99 at the register and then get $20 back in Staples Rewards, FREE except tax! Limit (2) per card...I forgot a 2nd coupon!

(1) Poland Spring Water @ $2.99 when you use your in-ad SUNDAY paper Staples insert coupon. On sale for $4.49 otherwise. Limit one per day.

SO, all of this cost only the price of the water (plus tax) because it was either FREE or you will be getting it back in rebates and rewards! :) I have to go back for my other free 5-ream paper this week!

My Price Chopper Trip 2/19/13!

Today, the whole family went to Price Chopper (4 of us). We each took a coupon for FREE Muller's Yogurt and the hubby and I each had a $1 off 2 coupon that we got from Walmart when they were sampling a while ago. Here's our deals!

(2) Kids transactions - Each got a FREE yogurt = $1.98 regular total

(2) Mom and Dad transactions, each did:

  • (2) Muller Yogurts, used $1 off 2 manufacturer coupon paired with the above FREE coupon, so we got 2 FREE = $1.98 retail
  • (2) GE Reveal Light Bulbs on clearance for .50 each!!! ???Retail Value???
  • (2) Waist Watchers Soda @ BOGO $1.29, used this $1/2 coupon printable = $2.58 retail
Paid $1.29 total plus tax each! :) Don't forget about this week's free ravioli!

Free and Cheap at Price Chopper! Week of 2/17/13!

Here are just two neat deals I found under the AdvantEdge e-Coupons on Price Chopper's website this weekend!

If you are not familiar with their online coupon system, these coupons are loaded right to your card and come off instantly when the item you are buying and your card are scanned.

NOTE: If you click a coupon under the "Manufacturer" tab to load to your card, you CAN NOT use another manufacturer's coupon with it. You will HAVE to use your card-loaded coupon, even if your paper coupon value is better. So, my suggestion is NOT to load a manufacturer's e-coupon to your card unless you are ready to use it. :)

These are STORE coupons: (limited supply!)

Save $3.00
on any THREE (3) Central Market Classics items

Free!
any ONE (1) Price Chopper Jumbo Round or Cheese Ravioli 13-14 oz.

Just click the AdvantEdge e-Coupons link to get your e-coupons loaded to your Price Chopper card!

My Staples Online Deal!

I am a HUGE fan of Staples some weeks. Many don't realize that they often give away items for FREE with either an "Easy Rebate" (cash back)  or "Staples Rewards" (store credit).

My favorite are the "easy rebates", obviously, because they are cash back that I can spend anywhere...
The "Staples Rewards" are a bit of a hassle because you are not able to spend them on future rewards items that give you more Staples Rewards.  If I've totally lost you, here's an example:
Let's say that Staples has a ream of paper for $5.00 with 100% Staples Rewards. That means, you pay $5.00 for the paper and then the next month, you get $5.00 Staples credit via email to use in their store or online.  Now, let's say that next month there is a $15 pack of storage boxes with 100% rewards.  If you use your $5.00 reward from the previous month on that, you would only be given a $10 reward the next month instead of the $15 reward you would have gotten if you paid cash.
This is a bit of a bummer because your rewards come in one big chunk. This month, I had $112 in rewards to use. So, I would have to spend that on items that were NOT reward items in order to get their full value. NO FUN! BUT, I have learned that you CAN purchase Staples gift cards online with your rewards so that you can use that gift card to get more "reward" items. Does that make sense?
So here is what I did today:
I desperately needed ink, so I decided to use my $25 of $75 coupon that came in the mail. Check your mail if you are a Staples member...these come every few months or so. They are valid only by phone or online.
Since I had $112 worth of rewards to use, I ordered a $50 Staples gift card.  After both, that brought my balance to .73!!!

You will also notice that the gift card cost me $1.99 to get on top of the $50. However, that is a small price to pay (for me) to have the option of rolling my rewards over and over instead of purchasing items with my rewards that will not give me more rewards!
We will get into more Staples shopping, but this will get you started if you are confused about the difference between "easy rebates" and "Staples rewards".

NOTE: If you use coupons with your staples rewards items, this will also diminish the amount of your staples reward. However, you may use it on an "easy rebate" item and still get the full amount of an easy rebate.
