Softsoap Catalina Deal at Price Chopper thru 3/23!

Logo_pc_plus_print

OK, so it has been confirmed that the Softsoap BOGO sale for $2.49 is working off shelf price for the free one! Here's the easiest deal in a nutshell:

(promo is on the last page of the ad)

*Buy 14 Softsoap @ $2.49 BOGO = shelf price is 14 * 2.49 = $34.86, enough for the $30 CAT promo minimum.

**Pay just $17.43 out of pocket as half of them will be FREE!

***Get a $10 OYNO Catalina that you can use on anything except gift cards! You can even do the deal again and get another $10 OYNO, but I do NOT recommend clearing the shelves!!! After all, you can always make your own hand soap!

$17.43 - $10 OYNO = $7.43 for all 14 hand soaps = .53 each!!!! :)

IMPORTANT!! Price Chopper Discontinuing Some Competitor Coupons!

I confirmed today that Price Chopper will be discontinuing the acceptance of drug store coupons and coupons from stores such as Dollar General and Family Dollar as competitor coupons. This begins on March 25, 2013. Bummer!

So, if you are planning on using the awesome $5 off $25 coupons that you have from stores such as Kinney Drugs or Family Dollar, use them this week!!!

Here's what I did...

Domino Sugar is on sale 3 places this week. (See post  HERE on couponing tips for Sunday ads.) I took my $1/2 coupon (from the RP insert from 3/17) to Kinney Drugs to get the 2/$5 sale and got them for 2/$4 after.
AND, I got a $5 off $25 coupon!

Then I went to Price Chopper to use it on the Catalina deal for Viva Paper Towels and Cottonelle Toilet Paper which gave me a $10 OYNO Catalina!

If you need a way to spend your $25 to use the coupon, try getting products like reduced meat, produce or necessities like milk or bread! :) Hurry!!!!

My Wreck It Ralph Deal @ Price Chopper!

I grabbed my paper yesterday morning and saw a great coupon in the Target insert -

"25% off any Disney Video or Book"

My daughter is hoping the Easter Bunny will bring it, so I called the Easter Bunny up and had him do this deal:

The DVD costs $19.95 at Price Chopper (same price at Target).  The Easter Bunny loves gas points, so he chose to take the 25% off coupon to Price Chopper as a competitor coupon.

Here's what the deal SHOULD be:

$19.95 @ 25% off = $14.96!

The cashier that the Easter Bunny had did not know how to calculate 25% off, had someone else use a calculator and they came up with $3.99 off instead of $4.99 off. The Easter Bunny asked them to recalculate (he is so smart that he did it in his head, LOL!), but they would not recalculate because a calculator was used by a "higher up". The Easter Bunny took one for the team as he could not jeopardize his relationship with good old PC.

Anyhow, they also have other Disney movies at $5.99 that you could pair this coupon with!  Did you find another great deal? Let me know! :) Just comment below!

Easy Savings at Price Chopper...No Coupon Clipping!

One of the easiest ways to save money at any grocery store is to look for "freshness peelies". These are the little coupons stuck right to the product on the shelf.  (You may not peel these off yourself, the cashier must do it or they are void!)

Today at Price Chopper, I needed milk.  I found these quarts marked $1.30 each at regular price. I saw these $1 peelie stickers on them and checked the dates to see when they would expire. They are good for 9 more days!

Using the peelies, I got (4) of them...for just .30 each! In other words, a gallon cost me just $1.20! AND, I didn't have to bring my coupons.

Now, had I had a coupon for this milk, I WOULD be able to use a store coupon with it since this store does not consider freshness peelies a "store" coupon.
They are simply marked down to sell by the expiration!

This is also true with many other dairy items such as yogurts, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc.  The meat section also has these coupons.  So, if you are shopping anyway, make a quick run through these sections to see if there are any items you could use! :)

Therefore, you need to scan all of your highest value doubler coupons FIRST, then all of the rest $1.00 and over.  (In other words, if your total order is $50 after your AdvantEdge savings card has been scanned, your total coupons that you want to double can only be equal to $12.50 or under since they will equal $25 when doubled...$25 is half of $50, so that is the limit)

***Also, you can only use 4 of the same coupons per customer per day! Happy shopping!

These are my favorite diapers, so I am excited!!!!

I know many people who don't use coupons love getting their diapers through Sam's Club as well!
